Marine Vacuum Service is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this full-time position, you will help maintain and repair a fleet of light-duty to heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including diesel trucks, tanker trucks, and semis.

We’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and skilled in diagnosing and fixing a wide range of mechanical issues to keep our operations running smoothly and safely.

Prior experience is helpful, but we're most interested in someone who’s eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to grow with us. Training is paid and provided to qualified applicants.

The ideal candidate will take initiative in maintaining our facilities, supporting operational equipment, and contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the property. You’ll play a key role in ensuring both the buildings and the specialized systems that support our work are in top working order.

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Industrial Tank Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing industrial tanks and confined spaces for service. You’ll work with a team using specialized equipment such as high-pressure wash pumps, vac trucks, and high-pressure hoses (often ranging from 5,000 to 40,000 PSI) to safely remove waste and clean tanks used in a variety of industrial settings, including our onsite, non-hazardous wastewater treatment facility.

This is a physically demanding job that takes place in challenging environments — ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things right, and values safety above all.

Tank Cleaning & Confined Space Entry

• Perform manual and mechanical cleaning of industrial tanks, pits, sumps, and vessels
  

• Enter confined spaces using proper PPE and follow all safety protocols

• Operate high-pressure washers, vacuum trucks, and other cleaning equipment
  

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  

• Strong work ethic and reliability
  

• Willingness to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and heights
  

• Comfortable wearing full PPE including respirators, harnesses, and protective suits
  

• Confined Space Entry & Rescue Certification
  

• OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Certification
  

• CDL (Class B or higher) with tanker endorsement
  

• Experience operating vac trucks or tank washing
  

• Experience in industrial cleaning, environmental services, or wastewater treatment
  

• Ability to lift 50+ LBS regularly
  

• Frequent climbing, kneeling, crawling, bending, and standing for extended periods
  

• Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, or enclosed environments
  

• Tolerance for dirty, physically challenging, and sometimes unpleasant conditions
  

This job takes place at both our company yard and various industrial job sites, including inside tanks, pits, and treatment plants. Conditions may be noisy, odorous, and physically demanding. Safety is our top priority, and all training and gear are provided.
